Compassionate Counseling When You Need It Most

Our Department of Behavioral Health provides no-cost, professional counseling services.

Available for individuals, couples, and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
Counseling sessions are provided by advanced graduate students enrolled in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, and Social Work programs.
All services are delivered under the clinical supervision of Licensed Psychotherapist Shanda M. Brennan, MSW, LCSW #92487, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care and support throughout your journey.
Our counseling sessions often focus on helping with the following concerns:

  • Traumatic stress
  • Grief and loss
  • Couples and family issues
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Relational concerns
  • Life transitions
Our support groups cover the full journey, from First Steps for the newly diagnosed and those living with cancer, to thriving in Survivorship.
