Comfort Kitchen is a hands-on workshop for individuals with cancer to build confidence in planning, shopping for, and preparing simple, nourishing meals. Learn to read food labels, stock your kitchen with easy staples, and create hassle-free recipes and snacks. Participants will leave with practical tools and tips they can use right away—especially on low-energy days.

Community Agreements
To help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone, we’d like to share a brief Code of Conduct that guides our gatherings. Michelle’s Place is committed to fostering a space where all participants, including clients, volunteers, facilitators, and staff, are treated with dignity and respect. We strive to keep our events inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable for all.

We ask attendees to engage with one another respectfully, be mindful of shared space and time, and help maintain a positive atmosphere. This includes using considerate language, respecting personal boundaries, and honoring the privacy of others. Behavior that is discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive to the group experience is not tolerated.
