Restorative Yoga (Sign-up Required)

Restorative yoga is an embodied meditation practice, a pathway to somatic reset and inner peace.

In a restorative yoga class, your body will be fully supported in comfort and ease using a variety of yoga props or any items you can find around your homes, such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, cushions, pillows, and eye pillows. The intention for this practice is to bring mindful awareness, attention to your sensations, and on releasing tension at the physical, mental and emotional levels; it is a gentle, slow, therapeutic a practice of conscious relaxation.

This style of yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system mode, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance. Through this release, you can let go of tension in the body and mind, and understand the true value of slowing down, self-soothing, nervous system reset, and feeling completely supported and at ease.
