Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance. Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

Michelle’s Place is committed to fostering a space where all participants, including clients, volunteers, facilitators, and staff, are treated with dignity and respect. We strive to keep our events inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable for all.

We ask attendees to engage with one another respectfully, be mindful of shared space and time, and help maintain a positive atmosphere. This includes using considerate language, respecting personal boundaries, and honoring the privacy of others. Behavior that is discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive to the group experience is not tolerated.
