Joella’s connection to Michelle’s Place began on a deeply meaningful day—her one-year anniversary as a cancer survivor. Wanting to celebrate life and give back, she began volunteering to support Michelle’s Place and its mission of helping and empowering those affected by cancer. What started as an act of gratitude quickly grew into a heartfelt commitment to serving others on their own journeys of healing and hope.
As Program Manager, Joella brings both professional experience and personal empathy to her role. With more than two decades of experience in life sciences, healthcare, and biotech, she combines her background in leadership and process improvement with a genuine desire to uplift and support others. Her own journey with cancer gives her a unique perspective and drives her passion to ensure every client who walks through the doors of Michelle’s Place feels seen, valued, and never alone.
Beyond her work, Joella finds joy in life’s simple moments—spending time with her husband and family, catching up with close friends, and enjoying the unconditional love of her two affectionate dogs. She continues to live each day with gratitude, compassion, and hope—qualities she brings to the heart of her work at Michelle’s Place.
